2. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use our website, authentication pages (including email-based one-time passwords), dashboards, and connected services. It applies whether you access the platform on a computer or mobile device.

• Authentication and security: one-time passcodes (OTPs) sent to your email for registration, login, or password-related flows; session identifiers; basic technical data (e.g. browser type, approximate timestamps, IP address) needed to secure the service and investigate abuse.
• Learning activity: information generated through normal use of the LMS, for example course or batch enrolments, class attendance or participation where recorded, quiz or assignment submissions, progress indicators, forum posts if you use forums, and messages or files you upload where the product allows it.
• Live and recorded classes: where classes use third-party platforms (for example Zoom or YouTube), those providers may process additional data under their own policies when you join a session or follow a link.

4. How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account and to authenticate you.
• To deliver courses, live sessions, recordings, assessments, and communications essential to the service.

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, comply with legal duties, and enforce our agreements. OTP codes and similar short-lived security tokens are kept only for the minimum time required for verification.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; you should use a strong password, protect your email account, and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.

9. Children and students

Where learners are minors, we expect registration, consent, and supervision to be handled by a parent, guardian, or educational institution as applicable under local law. If you believe a child’s account was created without appropriate authority, contact us at mail@scorewell.online.
